The Exelis Night Enforcer® – Fusion (Fusion Goggle) is the commercial variant of the AN/PSQ-20 DSNVG and is the next revolutionary step in night vision technology.
This technology is packaged in an optically fused monocular which combines both an image intensified tube and thermal (IR) microbolometer to provide users with dual views, for use separately or in combination. The combined view is especially critical in urban environments and structures that provide little ambient light with multiple concealment barriers behind which a subject can hide. With the Night Enforcer Fusion monocular, homeland security, law enforcement and first response operators can visually locate subjects, regardless of lighting conditions or visual barriers.
The unit is approximately the same size as the AN/PVS-14 (and the Night Enforcer PVS-14). A separate battery pack provides power for helmet-mounted or hand-held use. Night Enforcer Fusion mounts on a standard helmet using the optional helmet mount. This provides the ability to move and adjust the goggle in a number of ways; to flip-up, tilt, fore and aft adjustment, left or right eye use and quick disconnect from the helmet.
